Hey everybody! Its me again and I am doing my fourth post for world geography. This week the topic is... illegal immigration. Now this is a pretty controversial topic, but I will just be giving my opinion. Now down here in the grand, old state of Texas, we have quite a lot of illegal immigration. Because Texas shares a border with Mexico there are a lot of Mexicans that try to cross the border. They believe that by leaving Mexico that they can start new in the United States. This is bad because they take jobs away from American people that need the jobs to support themselves. And the bad part is, the government doesn't even seem to care! They just seem to look the other way and let it slip by! Sure there is a border guard and a fence but they don't really seem to be dealing with such a large issue as this one. I personally think that this should be stopped, and that we cannot have people that aren't even American citizens take away jobs that should go to people that need them! This may not be what everyone thinks and once again this is just my opinion, but that everyone's opinion needs to be heard for this country to succeed.
Reflection:
The past two weeks have been pretty crazy. There has been a large amount of homework and I am really glad it is the weekend. Two very bad things have happened in the past two weeks. My biology teacher, Mr. Schwarz has been diagnosed with cancer. I feel very bad for him and his kids and I hope he gets better. Second, my German teacher, Frau Lesher, is having twins! This is very good news, but it is a risky pregnancy because they are in the same amniotic sac. It is bad because we will not have her for our teacher next semester. I am very happy though, because I am writing this blog in Chicago. My family is staying with my grandparents and we are having an awesome time! I have already picked out my future car from the Lamborghini dealer(there are 50 of this model in the world, 2 in the United States) and I cant wait for tomorrow! Thanks for reading my post, and stay tuned for my fifth!
